ART FLASH MOB

Cambiare il significato dell’esposizione d’arte, aprendolo all’interscambio di valori temporali, cromatici e culturali, è questo è il preludio di base di Art flash mob. L’opera d’arte vive e cambia, accrescendosi di significati in tempi e luoghi diversi dell’originale luogo di creazione. Cambiando il luogo espositivo per la medesima esposizione d’arte, cambia anche la fruibilità sia delle opere, che del luogo stesso. La ricerca di quell’equilibrio tra opera d’arte e luogo espositivo, che sia esso luogo o non luogo è il filo conduttore del progetto Art flash mob.
In questo mondo, sottoposto a radicali trasformazioni, è mutata la percezione del tempo, oppressa da una “sovrabbondanza di avvenimenti” che a sua volta provoca una “accelerazione della storia”. Se muta il concetto di spazio, che si riduce a un punto nel momento stesso in cui il mondo ci si spalanca dinanzi, muta anche la “figura dell’ego”, dell’individuo, che sempre più “si considera un mondo a sé”. Si vive di conseguenza, una situazione di “eccesso” – di tempo, di spazio, di individualità – grazie alla quale la “modernità” novecentesca si è trasformata in una surmodernité- che esige nuovi modelli d’analisi antropologica (Marc Augé). Ma che accade nella surmodernità, quando l’eccesso cancella i tratti distintivi dell’esistenza, li confonde, li rende fluidi e inafferrabili? È qui che affiora il concetto di “non-luogo” come “spazio” tipico della nostra condizione contemporanea. Da qui si srotola la mia ricerca.Le performance vengono allestite in luoghi e non luoghi con breve durata temporale.

Changing meaning to art exhibit, opening it to the interchange of temporal, chromatic and cultural values, is the basic prelude to Art flash Mob. The work of art lives and changes, adding to meanings in time and places different from the original ones. Changing the exhibition site for the same art exhibit, you change also the availability of both work and place. The pursuit of balance between work of art and exhibition site, whether place or no place, is the common thread of the project Art flash Mob.In this world, exposed to radical transformations, the perception of time has changed, oppressed by an “overabundance of events” which in turn provokes a “speeding-up of the historical process”. If the concept of space changes, shrinking to a point in the same moment in which the world bursts open in front of us, it changes also the “figure of ego”, of the individual who, increasingly,” considers himself as a world of his own”. You live accordingly, a situation of “time, space, individuality excess” thanks to which the 20th-century modernity has been transformed into a surmodernitè- that demands new models of anthropological analysis (Marc Augè). But what happens in the sub-modernity, when excess deletes the distinctive features of existence, confuses them, makes them fluid and elusive? It is here that the concept of “no place” as typical “space” of our contemporary condition comes out. This is where my research unfolds.The performances are set in in places and no places for a brief time.
